“Patient Stillness” explores the trust required to wait for something that cannot be hurried. Settled low upon her nest, the loon holds a space between rest and readiness, becoming a reflection of patience, protection, and faith in what is still unfolding. The piece is a reminder that growth often asks us not to push forward, but to remain present and allow what is becoming to emerge in its own time.
The sculpted nest and water become part of this sense of waiting and renewal, grounding the loon within an environment that is both still and quietly alive with possibility.
