About

I create oil paintings that weave together fragility and endurance. Within my work, birds are recurring subjects symbolizing strength and freedom. Copper serves as the luminous foundation of my process, a conduit of energy and connection bridging the material and the symbolic, connecting human experience with the natural world. I use patina to invite organic patterns and unexpected colors, embracing chance as part of the narrative. Atop these substrates, oil paint deepens the story of avian spirit. For me, copper is not only a material but a reminder of resilience, chance, and our profound bond with nature.
