"No Hurry"
Oil Painting on Paper
$175.00
Hummingbirds are so often a blur of wings that seeing one this comfortably settled feels like a little gift. In “No Hurry,” this tiny bird sits softly rounded on its perch, brilliant feathers glowing against the quiet atmosphere around it. For the moment, there seems to be nowhere else it needs to be and no reason at all to rush.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
