"Lighthearted"
Oil Painting on Paper
$175.00
Sometimes all it takes is a small moment of beauty to lift our spirits. "Lighthearted" celebrates those unexpected moments of joy that remind us not to take life quite so seriously. With wings raised and a sense of effortless movement, this hummingbird seems to embody that lightness. Brilliant greens and warm copper highlights bring life to the bird against a beautifully varied green patina.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
