"Keeping Watch"
Oil Painting on Paper
$300.00
Ravens have a remarkable intelligence—the way they watch, consider, and seem to know more than they let on. In “Keeping Watch,” the raven’s lifted gaze captures that sense of quiet awareness, as though something just beyond our view has caught its attention. The warmth of the copper and patina makes its dark, iridescent feathers all the more striking.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
