"In Passing"
Oil Painting on Paper
$175.00
Hummingbirds rarely seem to stay in one place for long. In “In Passing,” this tiny bird is caught for just a moment, wings lifted and body poised to disappear again in an instant. There is something magical about these fleeting encounters, brief moments of beauty that are ours only because we happened to notice.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
