"In Focus"
Oil Painting on Paper
$175.00
There is something admirable about being completely present, with your attention devoted to a single moment. "In Focus" captures the focused nature of a kingfisher, poised and watchful as it surveys the water below. Rich oranges and blues bring energy to the bird, while the deep green patina creates a beautiful sense of stillness around it.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
