“Gathering” explores the connection that forms when individuals come together while remaining fully themselves. Resting, arriving, and taking flight, the Tree Swallows each occupy their own space and movement, yet together become part of something larger. Their gathering becomes a reflection of belonging, a reminder that connection does not ask us to lose our individuality, but allows each of us to contribute to the whole.
The raised geometric pattern and luminous copper create a shared structure around the birds, visually connecting their individual forms and reinforcing the sense of an unseen energy flowing between them.
