“Free to Be” explores the freedom found in releasing expectations and allowing ourselves to exist fully as we are. Suspended effortlessly in flight, the hummingbird becomes a symbol of possibility and authenticity, a reminder that freedom is not always about becoming something new, but about letting go of what keeps us from being who we already are.
Glimpses of copper were intentionally allowed to remain visible beneath the painted surface, becoming part of the hummingbird and its surroundings. Its changing light reinforces the idea that who we are is not fixed, but alive, luminous, and free to unfold.
