"Dwelling Within: Surrender"
Oil paint on pure copper leaf and patina
$780.00
“Dwelling Within: Surrender” speaks to the freedom found in feeling safe enough to let go. Curled peacefully within its shelter, the sleeping cat reflects complete trust, allowing its body to soften and rest without the need to remain watchful. Surrender is not always about giving something up. Sometimes it is the quiet release of what we no longer need to carry, trusting that we are held, safe, and free to rest.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on canvas. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
