"Dwelling Within: Just Looking"
Oil paint on pure copper leaf
$150.00
There is something comforting about the familiar spaces we call our own. "Just Looking" captures a quiet moment of curiosity as a cat gazes into the darkness of its little hideaway. Its soft features emerge against the dark interior, while the surrounding textured copper brings warmth and a sense of shelter. A simple reminder that even the most ordinary moments can hold our attention.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on canvas. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
5" x 5" x 1.5" Gallery wrapped canvas.
Oil paint on 100% pure copper leaf.
