"Dwelling Within: Content"
Oil paint on pure copper leaf
$340.00
There is a quiet kind of happiness in having a place to call your own. Tucked safely within its little refuge, this swallow seems perfectly content to simply be. The textured copper contrasts with the darkness of the shelter, drawing attention to the swallow's vibrant blue and white feathers.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on canvas. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
8" x 8" x 1.5" Gallery wrapped canvas.
Oil paint on 100% pure copper leaf.
