"Dwelling Within: Close Quarters"
Oil paint on pure copper leaf
$650.00
There's something endearing about the closeness between a mother and her young. In "Close Quarters," a curious little owl peeks out from beneath its mother's watchful gaze. Their shared shelter offers both protection and a first glimpse of the world beyond. The textured copper frames this intimate moment, adding depth to the shadows within.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on canvas. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
