"Bright Eyed"
Oil Painting on Paper
$300.00
Killdeer have an endearing alertness, seeming to take in everything happening around them. In “Bright Eyed,” this little bird stands upright and attentive, its wide eye and distinctive markings giving it an almost earnest expression. Surrounded by softly mottled copper and patina, its small presence becomes the unmistakable focus of the piece.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
