"At Peace"
Oil Painting on Paper
$300.00
There is something restorative about moments when nothing is expected of us. Standing quietly in the water, this horse in "At Peace" seems completely at ease, unhurried and undisturbed. The natural patina creates depth in the surrounding landscape, while reflections of copper move across the water, bringing warmth and movement.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
