"As You Are"
Oil Painting on Paper
$175.00
There is something wonderful about being satisfied with exactly where you are. "As You Are" celebrates those moments when nothing more is needed. Perched comfortably, this little barn swallow seems perfectly at ease in his surroundings. His brilliant blue and rust colored feathers stand out against the warm, earthy patina, bringing a cheerful presence to this simple portrait.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
