"A Welcome Visitor"
Oil Painting on Paper
$300.00
There is something wonderfully endearing about an opossum appearing for a visit. In “A Welcome Visitor,” this little guest leans forward from its perch, tiny pink toes curled around the post and whiskers reaching out as if curiosity might just win over caution. It feels like one of those unexpected encounters that becomes a small bright spot in the day.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on archival paper. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
