"Make Way"
Oil paint on pure copper leaf
$330.00
There is something wonderfully endearing about a fledgling testing its wings. In “Make Way,” this young swallow stretches wide, its determined little face seeming almost too serious for such a tiny bird. Still new to the world and figuring things out as it goes, it is hard not to root for this little one.
Created with oil paint over genuine copper leaf on canvas. The reflective qualities and dynamic nature of genuine copper allow the painting to shift subtly with changing light, creating depth and luminosity unique to this work.
